Real projects, real results

Every space has a different problem — wind, glare, rain or privacy. Here's how we solved a few of them across Gauteng.

Sandton, Johannesburg

Patio bar enclosed for year-round use

Challenge: An open patio bar was unusable in Highveld wind and afternoon storms.
Solution: Six crank-and-handle 400gsm canvas blinds with clear PVC vision panels, fitted flush to the beam line.
Result: The space is now used every day of the year, with full view of the garden retained.

Midrand, Gauteng

Challenge: Harsh western sun made the poolside seating unusable from 14:00 onwards.
Solution: Rope-and-pulley blinds in a light sand canvas, UV stabilised and fully waterproof.
Result: Surface temperatures dropped noticeably and the furniture is protected from rain.

Pretoria East

Challenge: A restaurant lost outdoor covers every time it rained during service.
Solution: Eight heavy-duty blinds installed overnight with reinforced hems and marine-grade fittings.
Result: Outdoor seating stayed open through the rainy season with no lost covers.
